Lager & Friends is coming home!

We’re thrilled to host Lager & Friends at our Riverwest home. We’ve hosted the festival at some pretty cool venues over the years, including Turner Hall Ballroom and the Heidelberg Park festival grounds, but we’ve always wanted to have it at our brewery.

Lager & Friends has prioritized showcasing great lager brewers from across the country. State laws prevented us from buying out-of-state beer, so we needed to host the festival off-site. A change in Wisconsin law now allows us to serve beer from outside the state, so we could finally host Lager & Friends where it all began: Gathering Place Brewing.

The festival will be both indoors and outdoors. Our Vienna Ave Biergarten will be in full effect as it frequently is for summer events including the Riverwest Food Truck Rally and our anniversary party. Street parking is plentiful and free. This event is rain or shine with contingencies in the case of bad weather.
